Ever wondered how your site is doing? You've sweated over building its structure, gathering content and polishing it's look and feel. Maybe you've even analyzed its incoming traffic. But how is your site doing on a global scale? We've just launched a feature for Edicy Pro users that helps you understand.
Site popularity statisticsNamely, we added Google PageRank and Alexa Rank information to the statistics section of your site. To access it, just jump in from here or navigate to Site > Statistics page of your site.

What do they show?

Google PageRank is a number from 0 to 10 that marks the importance of your site on the global scale. 0 stands for no authority at all, 10 marks the top sites of the world. The better the numer, the better your placement will be in the Google's search results. Good placement brings in traffic and revenues.

Alexa Traffic Rank on the other hand is the "Top Billion" chart of the internet. It sets all the sites of the world in a row by popularity starting from Google and Facebook. Your site is in the list too. The chart is generated both globally and for every single country in the world. We'll be showing stats for the countries you are doing best. Alexa position is recalculated daily.

We'll be writing more about Google PageRank and Alexa Traffic Rank in the nearest future.

How can i validate my edicy site to alexa , they provide an html code in order to insert to the head of the main page. I do it but the validation fail. I try several insert methods and nothing. thank you for your time

Hi Antonis! In Edicy you can only use metatag verification method. In order to insert Alexa metatag into your site you have to start customizing your design (http://www.edicy.com/support/design#54) because meta tag have to be entered directly into design code (into "SiteHeader" component ) instead into some text area (it doesn't work this way). If you have any trouble to customize design then feel free to contact us by email support@edicy.com and we can help you out!
