How do I write a new entry on my blog?
From your site, click "Blogs" at the bottom of the page. Click "New post" to load a blank page theme and start writing.
How do I publish my blog posts?
All blog posts are unpublished as drafts at first. To publish them, click on the “Start publishing” link next to the “Save” button.
How do I delete a post from blog?
Click "Blogs" on the lower toolbar and hover your mouse over the post you want to delete, then click the trashcan icon.

How do I manage comments on my blog posts?
Go to "Blogs" and click on "Maximize". Click on “… comments” beside the post you want to edit. This will list all the comments made on that post. Mark them as "Spam" and then use the "Delete spam comments" button to delete them.

Do I have to display my e-mail address with every blog posting?
No, you can set Edicy to display your name instead. To do this go to the "People" page ("Site" → "People") and change your user name as you want it to appear in your blog posts.
Can I set my blog as my homepage?
Yes you can – change the "Home page" layout type to "Blog & News". From here Edicy will automatically treat this page as a blog and allow you to add entries and comments to it.
How do I add a new blog page?
To add a new blog, add a new page and select its layout type as "Blog & News". Edicy will automatically treat this page as a blog and allow you to add entries and comments to it.

There is no "add" button in the blog bar. What should I do?
If you see the message "You currently have no posts. Start by adding some", click on it to add the first post. If you can only see "You currently have no posts" then there is no blog page in the current language of your site. You need to add a new blog page before you can add your first blog post.
How do I find out the RSS address of my blog/news page?
Add ".rss" to the end of your blog page's address to get the address of the RSS feed for that blog (e.g. myname.edicypages.com/blog.rss or myname.edicy.co/blog.rss).
How do I change the date of my blog post?
Go to "Page edit" → "Page", where you will be able to change its address, author and date, which will be displayed as the posting date.
How do I change the author of my blog post?
Go to "Page edit" → "Page" and choose the user you wish to list as the author of this post. The desired author has to have access to the site and be registered in the "People" tab of the "Settings" view.
I added a blog post, but when I log out, I can’t see it.
All blog posts are unpublished as drafts at first. In order to publish them, click on the “Start publishing” link next to the “Save” button.

How do I locate the email addresses of the people who have left comments to my blog?
Go to "Blogs" and click on "Maximize". Click on “… comments” beside the post. You'll get to see the author's email address while clicking on their name written in bold.

How do I add tags to my blog posts and why should I use them?
You can find a separate area under each blog post from which you can add tags to your post.
Click on the area, type the name of your first tag and hit Enter. You can add as many tags as you wish.
All the tags you've already added are memorized by Edicy. This helps you a lot when you wish to add the same tags to your next posts. Simply start typing in the same tag name and you can see it pops up automatically. Click on the tag and it's done.
For visitors, tags are displayed at the same place where you added them - at the bottom of your post.
When a visitor clicks on a tag, a list of posts with the very same tag are displayed.
You can also notice that a list of posts with the same tag has its own URL, e.g. http://www.edicy.com/blog/tagged/features. When you alter the URL and insert a tag you don't have, e.g. http://www.edicy.com/blog/tagged/cars, an empty list is displayed.
Adding tags enables you to group and filter your posts which comes very handy if you run a blog with a various themes. This way visitors can filter out those news or posts they are most interested in.
